Welcome

Self-organization is central to all Almende research.

Almende is a research company specializing in information and communication technologies aimed at supporting self-organization. Participating in both national and European research projects allows Almende to always operate in the vanguard of technological innovation.

At the core of all Almende research are hybrid agent networks: humans and computers working together in one system. All research is based on the idea that people, organizations and software agents should not be pre-programmed or managed top-down, but should be aided in organizing themselves.
